ABOUT TEAM
The majority of our boys have been together since the first days of the Soccer School and in the years since joining the Football Club we have also made some quality additions to the squad. This means the group have developed an extremely strong bond and we place great importance on team spirit, which is often called upon to see us through in tough games.
We instil the importance of work rate into the boys and they have taken this on board, adopting a high tempo pressing game. Once the ball is won back the emphasis is on moving it forward quickly in short, sharp passing movements, giving the opposition no time to re-group.
The high levels of ability throughout the squad means that competition for places is fierce – great from the squad depth point of view but a Managers nightmare when having to choose substitutes!
